Our Crossroads Project operates domestic violence locations in DuBois and Punxsutawney plus offers legal advocacy, options planning, and safety resources.
Successful candidates will develop and conduct outreach activities to educate and motivate individuals in Jefferson and Clearfield Counties to recognize domestic violence, take steps to reduce and support those impacted by violence, and help the community improve responses.
The position is based in our Punxsutawney office.
Currently we are seeking to fill one part-time position (22.
5 hours per week) working 3 days per week (Monday through Friday) with occasional weekend events for $16.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Responsible for system advocacy, to include collaboration and mobilization of partners to improve domestic violence response within the community.
Conducts community awareness, outreach, educational activities; travel is required.
Conducts public relations to cultivate community support and garner local resources.
Conducts support and educational group services.
Conducts volunteer recruitment, training, and utilization; assists with recognition.
Creates accurate, organized, timely, and legible files and documentation.
Computer Skills:
Computer Literate, including the Windows Operating System and Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Internet Explorer; and data entry.

CDC recommendations for disease prevention are followed; daily cleaning and disinfecting protocols are followed.
