Psychiatric RN Inpatient Unit Administrator

A nursing leadership opportunity is presently available for a Psychiatric RN Inpatient Unit Administrator with an esteemed medical center in Central Pennsylvania. Located in a desirable suburban community, this area provides convenient access to interstate highways and rests near beautiful state parks and lakes.

This not-for-profit, leading regional medical center features nearly 350+ licensed beds and over 2,500 caregivers. Service lines include Emergency Car, Inpatient and Outpatient Surgical Services including Neurosurgery, Mother Baby Care and Cancer Center. The hospital also features a Level II Trauma Center and an award-winning Stroke Center.

This Psychiatric RN Inpatient Unit Administrator will lead 20+ FTEs and the day-to-day operations of an Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit within the hospital. The unit includes 30+ beds and treats adult patients suffering from a variety of illnesses including severe panic, depression and anxiety, eating disorders, age-related mental decline and suicidal behaviors. The Psychiatric RN Inpatient Unit Administrator will ensure that quality care is delivered to psychiatric patients and that RN staff is allocated based on patient volume.

The Psychiatric RN Inpatient Unit Administrator will report to the Director Mental Health Nursing and will be involved in budget development and implementation. The Psychiatric RN Inpatient Unit Administrator will also assess continuing education needs for RN staff and develop staff training programs. Additional responsibilities will include staff scheduling, hiring and onboarding.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
